Processing all of this

Yesterday was an adventure of the mostly awful kind. Had a vet emergency run with a sick dog, and am hoping for the best. Let's just say there has been a lot of mopping and disinfecting going on. Not fun for anyone.

The afternoon was more awful. We had an appointment in Ka'anapali, which is past Lahaina, and we had to drive through Lahaina to get there. Yes, the drive was safe and uneventful. Some of the destruction is visible from the road, while much of Lahaina Town and the surrounding burned area was not accessible. What was visible was just horrific and unfathomable. Yes, it really was that bad. It's a whole lot of burned area.

I'm adding a picture of knitting so that there is something positive in this post. Most of yesterday was just horrible.
